Previously we heard that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is going to get ANDROID 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update. However, now the condition has been completely changed. An Australian carrier, Telstra, has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Note II 4G model is going to jump over the Android 4.2.2 and will be updated to the next version Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
This must be extremely superb news for those who own this lovely device. You might be thinking that it would be a regional update. Nevertheless, it does not seem to be a local update rather. The international users of the same device must not get anxious in this regard because they will get the update soon.
Now, let’s have a look at what Telstra’s official support page says:
Samsung have selected globally to skip the 4.2.2 update for this device and will rather go to a newer version of Android. No schedule has been provided for this particular update.
We are familiar with the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 would take a long time to get the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. Therefore, you should not start getting worried about this.
In the meantime, Samsung does not unveil anything special about their forthcoming Galaxy Note III, except a picture that has been formerly leaked yesterday. Well, we are all waiting for the next Note device to come and satisfy our needs. It has been confirmed that the device has a model number of N9005 and it could be the Snapdragon 800 version of this phablet. Moreover, it can also be a revamped Exynos 5 empowering the N9000 edition.
