Motorola is now after HTC’s footprints as the former tends to update its flagship smartphones. There is a great demand for the phones that are fully updated with the latest software features. That’s the reason why Motorola also takes interest in upgrading their existing devices.
“The company has just revealed that it is going to update all versions of Droid Maxx and Moto X (Ultra and Mini) with the hottest KitKat Android 4.4 update.”
This is very good news for the users having any of the above mentioned devices. This is not just a rumor but the update comes right from the Motorola’s official support site. The update status for some other products has also been mentioned there.
The Droid Razr Maxx HD, Razr HD and Razr M are listed as the “future plan coming soon”. This statement does not describe or clarify the update schedule and most of us must be confused to see this. Similarly, the Razr Maxx, Droid 4 and Droid Bionic all are on end of the list when it comes to the update process. So they won’t be getting any update over the already available Android 4.1.2.
There is no official release available regarding the KitKat Android 4.4 update for Droid Ultra, Moto X, Maxx and Mini. We are quite hopeful that Motorola will definitely let us know once they have plan for the update roll out. Currently, we are keeping an eye on the upcoming information and will let you know if there is anything important.
