Sony intends to update its devices in order to make their customers happy and fully intended. Now it seems that company would be soon sending an over the air update to their flagship device.
Previously, Sony did not keep its promise to provide the Sony Xperia S with Jelly Bean update till the end of March. Most of the users were angry on not obtaining the prescribed update timely. However, now the condition is changed and the company understands the annoyance of their customers.
“A French mobile carrier SFR’s leaked update roadmap tells that the update is coming to Sony Xperia S in May.”
The Xperia S was released back in February 2012 running Gingerbread Android 2.3. If you remember, we told you that the Sony Xperia devices were not going to be updated with Jelly Bean. However, the device received the Ice Cream Sandwich later on. After getting the Android 4.0, Sony promised to deliver a timely Jelly Bean update till the end of March, but they failed to keep their promise.
According to the SFR’s update list, the 1st Galaxy Note phablet will also be getting the Jelly Bean update at around the same time as the Sony Xperia S. Most of the people know that their devices will get Android 4.2 instead of 4.1 and it’s a good achievement.
Let me make this clear that the abovementioned rollout will be a final update to the Galaxy Note. After this, you might not be able to update your device to any other latest Android mobile operating system.
