Android 4.4 features KitKat

Google has recently unveiled their next version of Android and it is known as Android 4.4 KitKat. Though most of us were expecting the Key Lime Pie 5.0, but company has served its users with crunchy tidbits of chocolate. Android 4.4 features really grab the attention of people because they are the exactly what we have been looking for. Today we are going to let you know about these exciting functions that should be available with the Android 4.4 features.

Android Device Manager Enhancements

Google announced its own Find My iPhone version, known as Android Device Manager. This wonderful application helps in retrieving the data of your smartphone or tablet based on the Google’s mobile operating system.

The app was not as good as Apple’s, but now some important improvements have been made to it in the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. So now users can expect to get the best from its wonderful goodies. Hopefully, proper support for Android Device Manager will be added this time.

Multiple Profiles for Smartphones

Google launched multiple user profiles when it released Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Nevertheless, the features were only for the tablet users, not for those who had Smartphones.

Android 4.4 features must be very interesting for everyone because they bring lots of convenience for your lifestyle. The multiple profiles should now become available for the phone users. This is a wonderful function to protect your important data as well as safeguard the users too. You can restrict the web pages and apps that you do not want your child to look at. We want Google to add this important feature to their recently announced KitKat Android.

Downloadable maps in the Google Maps

People need to use maps especially when they are away from their homeland or region. Nokia phones have great facilitation of Maps and their user can get instant access to HERE Maps suite. To reach the right place, users are not required to search for any WiFi hotpsot or 3G network because they can have an easy and rapid access to Maps with Nokia Phones.

On the contrary, Google Maps are not presently available for download and offline use. This is what makes Google a bit embarrassing for the users. The problem must be been solved with the latest Android kit Kat.

Other Android 4.4 Features that we need are shared photo streams, built-in support for direct to SD app downloads, whatsApp/iMessage equivalent built in messenger and also the Native Google TV controller app.
