LG G Pad 10.1 was first introduced at the MedPi 2014 trade show in Monaco along with its other family members including the G Pad 7.0 and G Pad 8.0. At the time of its official announcement, no information was available on when these pads are going to be available for purchase.
However, now it turns out that LG has officially announced the global launch of the LG G Pad 10.1 and the biggest tab will soon be hitting market shelves in the United States, European, Asian and Latin American markets this month.
No information is available about the pricing details, however, this is going to be different depending upon different markets of the world.
The newly out LG G Pad 10.1 carries some of the new exciting features including the advanced UX features from the G3 smartphone. Other prominent specs of the tab include 10.1 inches IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels screen resolution, 1.2GHz Quad-core processor based on the Snapdragon chipset together with 1GB of RAM.
There is a 16GB on-board storage that can be further expanded through the microSD card slot. A 5MP rear-facing camera and 1.3MP front camera both help capture precious moments without letting them go wasted. Now you might be getting a bit curious about the OS. Well, the device runs the Android 4.4.2 KitKat and powered by a massive 8000mAh battery.
