The Samsung Galaxy Core 2 has been in the rumor mill for last few weeks and finally turns up on the web with powerful specs. The phone is out for the Russian territory with a Dual SIM functionality and a range of other nice specs.
The codename is codeSM-G355H and the device comes with back buttons and capacitive recent apps.
Other specs of the newbie include a 4.5 inches WVGA touchscreen display (480 x 800 pixels), a powerful 1.2GHz Quad-core processor, lower 512MB of RAM, 4GB on-board memory and a bunch of other built-in options.
I was surprised to see the processor but the combination of 512MB of RAM does not look too good. Anyhow, it seem that the Galaxy Core 2 would be running at great speeds in order to perform tasks immediately.
The device is easily pocketable even with its 4.5-inch display and the reason is compact design with classy finish. Here it is worth keeping in mind that the Galaxy Core 2 is the successor to Galaxy Core, Galaxy Core Advance and Galaxy Core Plus.
The handset has dimensions of 129.7 x 67.9 x 9.8 mm which shows that it is slimmer and easy to carry around. There is a 5MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front facing snapper to make video calls. The smartphone weighs just 138g and that’s the reason why company claims it be very handy phone for everyone.
